HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) Application Instructions
This is a READY TO PRESS HTV TRANSFER. You are ordering the transfer/print to press yourself. If you have any questions, feel free to message me prior to purchase.
HTV Transfers come to you READY TO PRESS. All the weeding and masking has been done for you. All you have to do is PEEL, PLACE AND PRESS.
HTV Transfer Sizing
All of our HTV transfers are offered in the following sizes (this measurement is of the longest side of the transfer image): ***OTHER SIZES ARE AVAILABLE, CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED A SIZE OTHER THAN LISTED BELOW
- Infant - 4"
- Toddler - 6"
- Youth – 8"
- Adult - 10"
- Adult XL - 12"
With HTV, Once the image has been pressed to the item, the item will "sit" on top of the garment so there will be a "feel" to the item.
You MUST use a heat press or home iron with HTV transfers.
HTV transfers can be used on ANY color and ANY type of fabric.
HTV Transfer Application Instructions: (these are recommendations based on our experience, results may vary due to factors unique to every situation)
- Set heat press temperature to 325 degrees F.
- Set timer to 20 seconds.
- Set Pressure to med/heavy
- Pre-Press garment for 10 seconds to remove any moisture
- Place transfer face up / sticky side down on garment
- Cover with Teflon sheet
- Press at 325 degrees F for 20 seconds with med/heavy pressure
- Remove plastic backing immediately / peel hot.
